Volunteers Needed! As with any non-profit organization, volunteers are always needed. The Western Museum of Flight's volunteer staff is the heartbeat and backbone of museum operations. Volunteer opportunities exist for aircraft restoration projects, educational programs, maintaining and upgrading the Dr. Ira Chart Research Library, facilities maintenance, museum office support. Restoration

Support the restoration and preservation of the following aircraft: A-4A, YF-17, YF-23A, F-14A, F-5A and F-86

Construct identification signs for all aircraft and display items

Aircraft models

Clean display Aircraft (Ongoing task).


Education Program - KLAS (Kids Love Aviation Science)

Docents are needed for supporting the KLAS program:
